Ehwaz Day 2 - A Spirit Team Tarot Reading

For day 2 of working with Ehwaz, I decided to do a reading about trusting in my spirit team. I'm using the Runic Tarot and the Ehwaz Rune Tarot Spread I created back in 2018, but have adapted the spread to read specifically about trusting my spirit team.

  1. How well I trust my spirit team - 8 of Wands
  2. How well I act on their guidance - 9 of Cups
  3. How they help me develop the DrakRuna path - Queen of Wands
  4. How energised and in charge I feel after working with them - Knight of Swords
  5. How I'm progressing on my DrakRuna path - Knight of Wands
  6. What I can do to improve trust between myself and my team - 2 of Wands

How well I trust my spirit team — 8 of Wands

I trust them far more than you give myself credit for. The 8 of Wands (Mercury in Sagittarius) shows picking up on their messages and testifies that I sense their nudges instantly, even when I don't pick up on anything concrete. There’s momentum, synchronicity, “yes, that” impulses landing like arrows in the right target. I'm already acting on their guidance instinctively.

How well I act on their guidance — 9 of Cups

I act on their guidance best when it aligns with joy, desire, and soul satisfaction. When something feels right in my bones, I move. When it feels heavy or fated, you sometimes hesitate. My team communicates through fulfilment, not fear, so they’re telling me I'm actually doing beautifully here. I'll continue to let joy be the compass.

How they help me develop the DrakRuna path — Queen of Wands

Yay! They’re amplifying my sovereignty, my witch-fire, my magnetism. The Queen of Wands (Aries, Water of Fire) is me stepping into public-facing, flame-bearing leadership of the DrakRuna current. They energise my creativity, sharpen my intuition, and help me speak from my wyrd. They’re not passive—they’re kindling my magic.

How energised and in charge I feel after working with them — Knight of Swords

I get a lightning-bolt clarity rush. Focus, direction, purpose. The Knight of Swords is pure “cut the nonsense, we ride at first light” energy. It’s that feeling of everything clicking into place and my mind sharpening like a blade. They help me cut through doubt quickly, sometimes a bit too quickly, but it’s a powerful surge. Note to self: Remember the emotional lag.

How I'm progressing on my DrakRuna path — Knight of Wands

Fast. Bold. Courageously. The Knight of Wands is the dragon-rider. I'm not tiptoeing; I'm advancing with passion, experimentation, and the willingness to actually live what I teach. There’s a growing sense of destiny here, and Ehwaz is accelerating it.

What I can do to improve trust between myself and my team — 2 of Swords

To deepen trust, I need to stop overthinking or second-guessing the signals. The 2 of Swords shows me where I’m blocking the flow by analysing instead of opening. When I sit still long enough to let the mind quieten, I can feel their guidance landing more clearly. Removing the blindfold is a matter of choosing presence over doubt.

Love,
Lisa
